The Pains Are All Mine

The Fable is inspired the Hawaiian mythical creature Moʻo which often takes the of monstrous reptiles, tiny geckos, and humans. They have power over weather and water. When a Moʻo dies, its petrified body becomes part of the landscape.

The Fable

This piece of art was commissioned by Taiwanese folktronic duo Our Shame for the release of their single Lost Souls. The artist used water as a metaphor to capture the ebbs and flows of our memories and what remains in us when memories become distant.
